The move to Pittsburgh was kind of hectic, Well the first part of it at least. I had to take care of a sick Nick and John had come up to see me (all at once) So on my last night in Waynesville NC I had to clean up puke on my bed and stayed up late watching Jean claude Van Damme movies with John.
The next morning I woke up late and hadn't really did any run throughs to pack every last thing. So, I was basically running around trying to not wake John and Nick, packing everything I could...However I still managed to leave two boxes behind and some other stuff.
My Uncle helped me by coming to get me with his van and a trailer so I could store my stuff at his house until I get settled here. Not even an hour into the drive, the van started smoking and the transmission fluid was leaking like crazy. So we were stranded in 101 degree weather praying for death. But finally we were able to fix it through a lot of wishful thinking.
I finally made it to VA and spent the rest of the time waiting for Thursday to come. My brother Daniel and his Wife and His wife's mom all live with my uncle (Until they an find a house) Pam (the mother-in-law) is a crazy Christian woman and listens to Christian rock and sings Christian music..even watch Christian crap TV (Or AKA "God TV")
I was being tortured slowly by the crazy heat and the screaming preachers on the television. She was also annoying me!
Every five minutes:
"Kasey, are you hungry"
"No thanks"
"are sure we have turkey"
"I'm good"
"we have tuna"
"No, pam"
"we have frozen stuff"

I know she meant well, but damn! The woman can talk!

Anyway, Steve and I made it here and now I'm just waiting on him to get home from work.
So far, Steve has been really motivated to make me feel at home. He took me out and got me a cell phone on his bill, took me to a grocery store and made me pick out food I wanted. He's always asking if I want to do anything special and he even still calls me on his lunch break. lol. He's adorable and I love that kid.
